Jabber

In networking world, Jabber means a faulty device (usually a NIC ) continuously transmits corrupted or meaningless data onto a network. This may cause denial of service of the entire network from transmitting data beacuse other devices will perceive the network as busy. Jabber may also means sending data packet greater than the maximum 1518 bytes as specified in IEEE 802.3. To prevent this, jabber control should be added to the hardware.
