Remote Administration Remote Administration generally refers to any method of remotely controling a computer. Typically a server, or network workstation, although sometimes "Home User" computers can be remotely administered by their owners. This is a legitimate function. However, it s also a function of many Trojan Horses (such as Back Orifice and Sub7). In some cases, the developers of such software attempt to reclassify their products as commercial "remote administration" tools.
